About Us
Sandy and Kevin's Story
We have been creating our clay works here at North Cole Pottery since 1989. We have slowed down considerably and reevaluated our interests and goals over the last few years. Now we are later in life potters-taking in more moments to really- "Stop and smell the coffee" in our mugs.
There are times we hear the clock still ticking--
a signal beckoning to our wheels, and we find ourselves immersed in the slurry of mud once again. It brings us back to our business beginnings for sure-but it also helps remind us of the pure simple joy of playing with the earth.

The childhood time I spent as a nature participant gave me a wealth of art supplies right at my fingertips...leaves, rocks and sticks--but dirt was my favorite! I recall many a time just tossing it up into the air and feeling it land on my face and shoulders--much to my mother's dismay.
